Holy Island Festival – Sunday 16 July

One of the most magical settings for a festival must be Lindisfarne and this year’s Holy Island Festival is headlined by Kathryn & Superfolkus. A special guest at this concert is 12 year old Abbey Tilley, winner of two trophies for her dialect singing at the recent 2017 Morpeth Northumbrian Gathering, and who has also been getting singing advice from a certain Mike Tickell! The festival programme is carefully timed to allow for the high tide which covers the causeway to the mainland twice a day. If there is any slight fluctuation in tide times, fear not! – the band will simply play faster.
