Kathryn interviews Jonathan Ward - music historian, record collector and producer of Dust-to-Digital's latest release Excavated Shellac: An Alternate History of the World's Music, a collection of rare 78s from around the world.

BBC Radio 3's Music Planet, 30 January 16.00 GMT: Kathryn presents music from this year's online Celtic Connections festival. Specially recorded performances from bands across Europe and North America include a set from Quebec band Le Vent du Nord. Kathryn introduces studio sessions too, from young Celtic band Gnoss and Gaelic singer Kathleen MacInnes.
